Icelandic aurora borealis
The one time I've managed to capture the northern lights in Iceland, hoping for more opportunities in the future.
Elements
As I mentioned in my previous post I'd brought all the essentials along to do some creative pics but the weather was so bad when I'd left the car I basically had my 10 stop filter and the camera with me. In true sods law the light began to change so I resorted to plonking my camera down on a rock to try and get the shot I was after. I'm really happy with this shot. Its inspired by some photos I saw a number of months back by a guy called milou, he's been creating great images for years which have always inpired me. You can see the photo which inspired this here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/milouvision/6979939600/in/photostream

Evening Drama
Took a punt on another trip down to the hoe after looking at the cloud formations on the way home and thinking there was a chance the sun would drop beneath the cloud just before setting and give some awesome colours. For once managed to guess it right.
